Let us tell you, this is our experience and couse of climate change it can change also.
Its never cold in Zanzibar, even in the rain season its around 28 degrees. The huminity is really strong during the rain season, but always you find a day to join the ocean or explore this beautiful Island!
Every where around Zanzibar you will find small shops (duka) where you can join local food. Let me tell you alcohol you will just find in Hotels, its an islamic Island and the local restaurants dont sell alcohol.
Eatherwhise you can get delicious and cheap local food, like "Ciapatti" (like Naam), Chakori or Katlessi (a delicious potatoroll, like a bite). Sorry if I did a mistake by writing this food, but thats by the way you pronounce it.
You are welcome in every Hotel, Lodge or local restaurant to join delicious food and drinks!
